Chapter 1

Khatam-un-Nabiyeen Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ

Q.6 Translate into Urdu                                                              (15)

The early years of Rasoolullah ﷺ were marked by profound personal loss. His father, Hazrat Abdullah, passed away before his birth, and his mother, Hazrat Amina, died when he ﷺwas only six years old. Orphaned at such a tender age, he ﷺ was taken in by his grandfather, Hazrat Abdul Mattalib, who lovingly cared for him until his own passing away two years later. Thereafter, Hazrat Abu Talib, his paternal uncle, took responsibility for his upbringing and remained a steadfast guardian through his youth.

 اردو ترجمہ

رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ابتدائی سال شدید ذاتی صدموں سے لبریز تھے۔ آپ ﷺ کے والد، حضرت عبداللہ، آپ ﷺ کی پیدائش سے قبل ہی وفات پا گئے، اور آپ ﷺ کی والدہ، حضرت آمنہ، اس وقت انتقال فرما گئیں جب آپ ﷺ صرف چھ برس کے تھے۔ اتنی کم عمری میں یتیم ہو جانے کے بعد آپ ﷺ کی پرورش آپ ﷺ کے دادا، حضرت عبدالمطلب، نے کی، جنہوں نے نہایت محبت اور شفقت سے آپ ﷺ کا خیال رکھا، یہاں تک کہ دو سال بعد وہ بھی انتقال فرما گئے۔ اس کے بعد آپ ﷺ کے چچا، حضرت ابو طالب، نے آپ ﷺ کی کفالت کی ذمہ داری سنبھالی اور جوانی تک آپ ﷺ کے پختہ سرپرست بنے رہے۔

Thousands of men, women and children were mercilessly butchered, and millions were uprooted from their homes. Over fifty lakhs of these arrived in the Punjab within a matter of weeks. The care and rehabilitation of these unfortunate refugees, stricken in body and in soul, presented problems which might well have destroyed many a well-established State. But those of our enemies who had hoped to kill Pakistan at its very inception by these means were disappointed. Not only has Pakistan survived the shock of that upheaval, but also it has also emerged stronger, more chastened and better equipped than ever.

ہزاروں مرد، عورتیں اور بچے بے رحمی سے قتل کیے گئے، اور لاکھوں لوگ اپنے گھروں سے بے گھر ہو گئے۔ان میں سے پچاس لاکھ سے زائد چند ہفتوں کے اندر پنجاب پہنچ گئے۔
ان بدقسمت مہاجرین کی جسمانی اور روحانی حالت بہت خراب تھی، اور ان کی دیکھ بھال اور بحالی ایسے مسائل پیدا کر رہی تھی جو کئی مضبوط ریاستوں کو تباہ کر سکتے تھے۔لیکن وہ دشمن جو پاکستان کو اس کے آغاز میں ہی  ختم کردینے کی امید رکھتے تھے، مایوس ہوئے۔پاکستان نہ صرف اس ہولناک صورتِ حال کے جھٹکے سے بچ نکلا بلکہ وہ اس سے زیادہ مضبوط، سنوارا ہوا اور پہلے سے بہتر طریقے سے لیس ہو کر نمودار ہوچکا ہے۔

As the effects of global warming intensify, Pakistan is also witnessing an increase in the frequency and severity of extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, and cyclones. The geographical diversity of Pakistan, combined with the pressures of rapid urbanisation and population growth, makes the country particularly susceptible to these climate-induced disasters. The changing climate has disrupted weather patterns globally, leading to more intense rainfall and prolonged dry periods in Pakistan.

 جیسے جیسے عالمی حدت کے اثرات شدت اختیار کر رہے ہیں، پاکستان بھی شدید موسمی حالات جیسے سیلاب، خشک سالی اور طوفانوں کے بڑھتے ہوئے واقعات اور شدت کا سامنا کر رہا ہے۔ پاکستان کا جغرافیائی تنوع، تیز رفتار شہری آبادی اور آبادی میں اضافے کے دباؤ کے ساتھ مل کر، ملک کو ان موسمیاتی آفتوں کے لیے خاص طور پر حساس بناتا ہے۔ بدلتے ہوئے موسم نے دنیا بھر میں موسمی نظام کو متاثر کیا ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں پاکستان میں زیادہ شدید بارشیں اور طویل خشک دورانیے دیکھنے کو مل رہے ہیں

Clean Water

The availability of clean water also has significant environmental and economic implications. Clean water is crucial for maintaining ecosystems. Rivers, lakes, and wetlands depend on clean water to support diverse wildlife and plant species. Pollution from industrial activities, agricultural runoff, and improper waste disposal can degrade and harm aquatic life, and disrupt delicate ecosystems, leading to declines in populations and loss of habitat for other species.

 اردو ترجمہ

صاف پانی کی دستیابی کے ماحولیاتی اور اقتصادی اثرات بھی نہایت اہم ہیں۔ صاف پانی ماحولیاتی نظام کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے ضروری ہے۔ دریا، جھیلیں اور دلدلی علاقے صاف پانی پر انحصار کرتے ہیں تاکہ مختلف قسم کے جنگلی جانوروں اور پودوں کی اقسام کو سہارا دیا جا سکے۔صنعتی سرگرمیوں، زرعی بہاؤ، اور فضلے کو نامناسب طریقے سے ٹھکانے لگانے سے پیدا ہونے والی آلودگی پانی کے ماحول کو خراب کر سکتی ہے، آبی حیات کو نقصان پہنچا سکتی ہے، اور نازک ماحولیاتی نظاموں میں خلل ڈال سکتی ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں آبادیوں میں کمی اور دیگر انواع کے لیے مسکن کا نقصان واقع ہو سکتا ہے۔

The Punishment of Shahpesh, the Persian, on Khipil, the Builder

They came to the gardens, and behold, these were full of weeds and nettles, the fountains dry, no tree to be seen,—a desert. And Shahpesh cried, “This is indeed admirable design, O Khipil! Feelst thou not the coolness of the fountains?—their refreshingness? Truly, I am grateful to thee! And these flowers, pluck me now a handful, and tell me of their perfume.”

وہ باغوں میں آئے، اور دیکھو، یہ گھاس پھوس سے بھرے ہوئے تھے، چشمے خشک تھے، کوئی درخت نظر نہیں آتا تھا، ایک صحرا۔ اور شہپیش نے پکارا، "یہ واقعی قابل تعریف نمونہ ہے، اے کھپل! کیا تم کو چشموں کی ٹھنڈک محسوس نہیں ہوتی؟ - ان کی تازگی؟ واقعی میں آپ کا شکر گزار ہوں! اور یہ پھول، اب مجھے ایک مٹھی بھر اٹھاؤ، اور مجھے ان کی خوشبو بتاؤ۔"
